Becki Parsons is a Registered Dietitian through the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and a Clinical Exercise Specialist through the American College of Sports Medicine. She is a speaker and owner of i’mPowered Nutrition & Fitness, a private nutrition and exercise practice coming alongside, educating, and empowering people to build healthy foundations for the lives they want.
She is passionate about sustainable wellness and disease prevention and management. She loves helping people be and stay healthy and happy! She also loves tea. And tortilla chips with salsa. And weight lifting. And not coconut.
After dreaming up a project to follow different health recommendations (and very occasionally a “diet”) to help her understand her clients’ past and future experiences better, her husband encouraged her to start the blog. Becki follows different health recommendations – some beneficial, some not – to live out what it’s like to manage health with various conditions or health problems.
